Our client, a leading chat app in the Middle East, makes secure messaging and real-time communication its core offering. City corporations, gated communities, and large organizations are some of its customers who use the app for chat, video, and voice calling among its users. The chat app also clubs file sharing, group messaging, communities, and language translation options. Our client’s aim is to provide a fully-encrypted chat experience for the public or employees in large communities to have a seamless and secure chat space they can rely on at all times.

The Challenge

With the key focus on promoting only authentic conversations within communities and organizations, our client was in search of a chat solution provider who focuses not only on uninterrupted communication but also world-class features and accommodates over 5M+ concurrent users. Besides the basic chat functionalities, the client also wanted their chat app to have an option for the community users to report any public grievances in their area that will be addressed by the government. They wanted the app to bridge the gap between daily conversations and solve concerns without heavy wait times. Furthermore, chat language translation in Russian, French, and Arabic was also a key requirement to be available across Android, iOS, and web alongside other features.

The Solution

MirrorFly SDKs being the most flexible in-app communication suite, was integrated to the chat app across Android, iOS, and web. Chat security, end-to-end encryption, and compliance metrics were met. Each organization or community head would bear the super-admin role and for security purposes, customizations were made for him to decide who can and cannot use the app. The super admin can also designate admin roles and create different departments within the app.

In Phase I deployment, the Media split-up feature was customized in addition to the quick integration of our powerful Video, Voice & Chat SDKs. Chat language translation was included for Russian, French (LTR), and Arabic (RTL).

In Phase II deployment, Social Demand And Government Response (SDGR) feature for easy ticketing and grievance-solving was delivered as a plug-in with language translation. Also, the app was migrated to new MirrorFly SDKs with advanced features and messaging security.
